Paxos & Antipaxos
Paxos is one of the smallest Ionian Islands, located just off the West coast of Greece, it is situated about 20 miles south of the island of Corfu. Paxos's Mediterranean climate, along with its clean beaches makes it a sought after destination for travelers. Dominated by olive trees, the island is very green compared to other Greek islands. Gaios is the main 'town' on the island, although it is more like a large village. The many bars and cafes are ideal for watching the world go by, and the boats sail in and out of the small port. Lakka and Loggos are smaller fishing villages, with Loggos being the smallest and nearest to Zakspitaki B and B. All the bays on the island enjoy crystal blue clear water, unlike anywhere you have ever been before.
Antipaxos, the neighboring island, is only 3 miles south of Paxos. The sea surrounding Antipaxos is famously clear blue, with 2 sandy beaches which make for some of the best swimming in the Ionian. There are beach tavernas on each beach for refreshment and lunch. Antipaxos is covered in vineyards. The 100 inhabitants of the island are proud of their local wine, which can be bought in some stores in Paxos. A day out in Antipaxos is definitely recommended during your stay! It is one of the most relaxing ways to spend a day in Paxos. Boats for Antipaxos leave from Loggos, Gaios and Lakka, or you can hire your own small motor boat and see the island by yourselves!
Whatever your reason for coming to Paxos, there are a number of activities to be enjoyed while you are here.

Paxos and Anti Paxos are full of small coves and bays, all of which have clear blue water for swimming in. Because we do not have a huge tidal difference in this part of the mediterranean, the bays are always perfect for swimming. For us, it is the best part of the day to go down to the beach and get into the water for a swim, it has to be experienced to truly appreciate how special it is!
